I liked that the scariest element wasn’t the “crazies” but big brother. I did have to warm up to Olyphant not being a total badass from the get go.

I have mad love for the the 80s Flash Gordon. I saw it the theatre and over the years it has always been that go to guilty pleasure. It has this odd statement of Ming representing the oncoming oppressive Reagan era vs. the free wheeling 70s.

If Sahara was the last thing he directed, I would be worried too, but I think he did a really good job with The Crazies. I’m going to try and stay hopeful for Flash Gordon.
