I think “Up In the Air” is getting just as much over-hype as “Juno.” I liked that “Up In the Air” was realistic, and didn’t have the typical Hollywood treatment. I gave it 4 1/2 Little People. I’m not saying it’s not a good movie. My only real problem is that it’s telling the same type of story I’ve seen in another movie that I liked better. Although, to be fair that movie did have a happy ending, but my point was that the movie from 10 years ago has never been heard of, where as this movie is getting credit for being original when it’s not really.

What was great about it was how depressing it was; it bucked the cliched happy Hollywood ending trend that so many feel-good movies force down the throats of the masses. The film’s misery was it’s beauty. And “Juno” was over-hyped drivel!
